I played Zach's arrangement for a Lenten Meditation solo concert this year. Love how the melody sings in different registers in the piano, and the simplicity and clarity allows the longing of the text to reign. A great setting of this tune.
“achingly beautiful” is the best way to describe this song. I’ve been dealing with morning sickness, and I was laying in bed listening to this song. It gave me so much peace (almost put me to sleep lol). I love the elegant simplicity.
