Hymns, Vol. 1 (Physical Book)

These arrangements are a challenge for me which is good!!

I am loving these arrangements, and look forward to playing them in retirement homes. They are so well constructed and carry the essence of each hymn quite well. LOVLEY!!

I especially like this book of hymn arrangements. I purchased it after I saw a FB video of you playing Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing. I almost have that hymn practiced up and ready to play in church. It just makes happy to sit down and play that song.😊

Love the arrangements!

The songs are great, book quality is not. Whoever hole punched it didn't do a great job and all the pages are falling off the spiral at the top. Also, the book has no support on the cover, so doesn't stand up on my piano.

Really love your music and appreciate the physical quality of sturdy spiral binding and heavier pages.

Love this new hymn material. It’s very pretty & when something is fun to practice I’m always more intent in my piano practice. Also love the spiral notebook binding.

I was disappointed in the arrangements by zach james overall. They were not melodic sounding chords but at times has sounds of dissonance which was annoying to me. Not a fan.

Beautiful, emotive arrangements perfect for the busy adult or high school student. Excellent variety of styles too. Thanks for making hymns fun again!

The book arrived as promised. It is easy to read and play if you are more than a beginner. I highly recommend this resource for any church piano player.

Such beautiful arrangements of beloved hymns. I love the different chord structures Zach uses to make them interesting but not hard to play. Very worshipful music for service use or just alone time at the piano.

Zach James’ Hymns, Volume 1, contains a variety of worshipful hymns that he arranged tastefully. I appreciate his unique contributions while maintaining the essence of the original hymns. There are hymns that may be used for different aspects of church ministries, whether it be a prelude, offertory, or other application. He has put extra thought into the division of music in page turning, which otherwise may be a challenge for the pianist. I appreciate fingering suggestions and other annotations. The book itself is high quality, including the heavier weight paper and durable spiral binding. I am very pleased with this compilation of his arrangements and anticipate using it frequently.
